Rachel was so lovely both at the trial and on the day itself. Myself, my sister and my mum felt so at ease which is huge because we are typically not make-up people at all. Rachel made sure to show us and talk us through each step of our make-up with helpful tips and pointers so that we could look fresh all day. She also continually asked for feedback so that she could adapt the look to what we were comfortable with. We really loved the final look, it was natural, light and graceful. Rachel was a delight to have with us getting ready and even made a little video of us all getting ready which we all loved. Rachel was brilliant both at my trial and on the day. As someone who doesn’t normally wear make up, I was keen not to have too much make up to the point I looked completely different for my wedding day. Rachel was the perfect fit to create a natural look, and was obviously very knowledgeable and took time to listen and create the perfect look for me. My bridesmaids were also impressed with the looks she created, with one asking for Rachel’s phone number after the day to ask for the names of products she’d used as she was so impressed with how good it looked! Rachel did my make up for my wedding and I'm SO glad I booked her. She stepped in after another MUA messed me around, and that turned out to be a stroke of luck!  From the trial, Rachel was so helpful and knowledgeable about both skin care and make up. She gave me lots of tips and advice to keep my skin looking great, and I noticed a big improvement once I changed things around in my routine.  On the day, she did a wonderful job and stayed until right before the ceremony. This was great as my dad made me cry at the first look and poor Rachel had to re-do some of my make up! You couldn't tell afterwards and it held up the entire day and night. A lot of people don't realise how much work and effort it actually takes to get a good natural look. And Rachel makes it look easy. But you can't do it without a lot of knowledge and experience, to balance it just right. I couldn't be more happy with my make up and felt Rachel really achieved exactly what I was after. Rachel is just a joy! She is so incredible at what she does, she has so much passion and skill! Rachel did my wedding makeup, and my mums makeup too. We had to downsize our wedding and change the date and plan about and she was so understanding and caring, I felt like she was right there with me from start to finish, supporting and reassuring. Mum and I had our trials and oh my goodness it was incredible. Rachel is so very knowledgable taking one look at me and knowing exactly what to use, she took her time getting everything perfect not missing a single detail. On the day my makeup was flawless, and lasted no problems, she stayed until the very last moment for a little touch up before I got into the car. I couldn’t have been happier with what she did! I still looked like me but an enhanced version and I love it. Rachel also was so Covid secure. Our make up was done by the very talented Rachel Maslin and her assistant Kim. Both Rachel and Kim did such a lovely job of our make up. We went for a very natural style with glittery eyeshadow for all the ladies. Rachel complimented all of our make up to our skin tone and I have to say my bridal party looked stunning. Rachel did the makeup for my Wedding and from the first contact to my trial and then the big day Rachel was so professional but so lovely and really made me feel at ease. On the big day she gave me an amazing natural look and was so much fun she really helped ease my nerves. Rachel performed a miracle with my Mum who never wears makeup and was very hesitant to have it done but by the end she was thrilled with her look and Rachel easily took 10 years off her. My Bridesmaids transformation was incredible too. I was blown away with Rachel’s work.Rachel was also so so incredibly Covid safe. She was constantly cleaning her work area, wore a mask and face shield at all times. This morning Rachel spent 2.5 hours of her valuable time teaching me how to apply makeup via zoom.
